Blue Eagles, 10-0? ; 4th Spot, DLSU or UST?

The unbeaten Blue Eagles will go against the Red Warriors this coming Thursday,

August 25, 2011, 1 PM at The SMART Araneta Coliseum.

Both teams are coming from a win, ADMU won over UST in their last outing while UE stunned DLSU.

UE showed a very strong team effort in their win over the Green Archers, they made more assists than LaSalle, where in fact Red Warriors are dead last in assists this season. That made a statement that even UE is in the bottom two right now, they can still play and compete against the teams that have higher rankings.

Blue Eagles as usual came up very strong against the Tigers, they left UST in the dust in the first quarter and never looked back, their Defense made them outstanding in their 9 wins. With the 1-2 combination of Ravena and Slaughter, Ateneo will be hard to stop this season.

Who wants it more?

Will UE repeat their best performance to beat the Blue Eagles?

Or will the Unstoppable Ateneans continue their winning streak?

In the second game, DLSU and UST will fight for the 4th spot.

This will be an all out war between this two schools, the precious number four position is at stake.

Green Archers had a big problem with their free throws and point blank shots in their two losses,where if they won those games that could put them in solid number three spot now. Coach Dindo, should be more concern about about those high percentage shots that are not falling in.

Revenge is the battle cry for the Growling Tigers, they were beaten by DLSU in the first round, with the score of 74-71. UST wants to get back and win this coming game against the Archers. Karim Abdul should play an A-Game to help his team to win this one, and get the advantage over DLSU.

UST and DLSU have identical win-lose record and the game this Thursday will put one school over the other.

Who will be more aggressive?

Will the Archers be on target? Or will the Tigers redeem themselves?
