Will it be the break up of the long time back court tandem of The Fast and the Furious?
There are speculations that Jayjay Helterbrand will retire after this conference.
Ginerba is already using their young back courts like, Rob Labagala, John Wilson and maybe next time, Jimbo Aquino.
Before the conference started, there was an interview with Helterbrand and he said that, he just signed a one conference contract to Brgy. Ginebra Kings. He wants to try if the desire, the fire and the eagerness to play the game is still in his blood.
His long time partner Mark Caguioa also expressed his feelings about the issue. Caguioa said that he was sad when he knew that Helterbrand was planning to retire. It has been 10 years of running the back court of the Gin Kings and now they are on the edge of separating ways.
