The opening ceremony of our PBA is simply impressive.
PBA presented a new theme "San ka? PBA Kampihan na!". The new season of PBA seemed to be more promising and exciting because of the new combinations of players in different teams and the addition of a new team.
Everything went smoothly in the opening of the PBA yesterday, October 2 (Sunday).

The highlight of the ceremony was the parade of the Players and their Muses plus the Induction of 2011 Hall Fame Class led by the "Black Superman" Billy Ray Bates and "Captain Lionheart" Alvin Patrimonio.
Before the first game of the season starts, the game between the Brgy. Ginebra Kings and Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, PBA paid respect for some of the Greatest Contributors of the league.
Hall of Fame - Class of 2011
Billy Ray Bates
One of the most charismatics import ever played in the PBA. He played for Crispa and he was called "The Black Superman".
Alvin Patrimonio
He is just one of the two players who had a 4-MVP title on their achievements in the PBA. He was called "Captain Lionheart" of how he played in the hard court, Capt. played very brave, he had the heart of a lion when the game was on the line.
Freddie Hubalde
The 1977 MVP and he popularized the "Pambanda Shot", shot that is always using the back board to convert a basket.
Tommy Manotoc
A Champion Coach. He was the architect of the 2nd Grand Slam in the PBA and they made it with Crispa.
Tito Eduque
He was called "The Man in White" because when he is the game, his family and him always wear an overall white outfit. He was once the Coach of the Decade Awardee.
Bobong Velez
He was the father of Vintage Sport, the TV Broadcasting that pioneered the programming of PBA in your TV sets. PBA will not be as popular as it is today with out him. He started it all for the TV History of the PBA.
Mariano Yengko
He was the 2nd Commissioner of our Philippine Basketball Association.
