It's been a month when we last saw our very own FutBol team. They took a rest after their game against Kuwait. Now they start preparing for the Long Teng Cup in Taiwan. This Cup is also important because this will give them points for the FIFA World Rankings.
Azkals have a new player.
Ronald Mueller, a new addition for the team. He is a Fil-German Goal Keeper, his mother is a Filipina and his father is a German. Like Stephan Schrock, Mueller also play in the 2nd League Bundesliga. This is his first practice with the team Azkals.
Jason De Jong their Fil-Dutch midfielder and Fil-German Manny Ott will also be back in the line up for this coming tournament.
But in the other hand, Neil Etheridge, Rob Gier, Gerry Lucena, Paul Mulders and Stephan Schrock will not be able to join the team with this Cup.
The Long Teng Cup will happen on the 30th of September until the 4th of October of this year. Azkals will compete against 3 countries, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
We need to win this to increase our World Rankings,
and a confident Phil Younghusband told Dyan Castillejo in his interview in TV Patrol World,
"Mas malakas kami..."
