The Grand Slam stopper and the last Conference Champion, They have a high moral and momentum. With the returning "Cebuano Hotshot" Dondon Hontiveros, they will be on top shape again. Additional outside shooter and great defender, a huge lift especially that Washington and Al-Hussaini will be coming from injuries.
They were already a solid team, but they still acquired Lutz and Agustin, two rookies that could give major impact to the team.
Defense will always be their main weapon and they improve on it by having Chris Lutz in the draft pick, his international experience will be a big factor for the team plus the re-acquisition of Hontiveros, we all know that he is arguably one of the best, if not the best, guard defender in the league right now.
Carlo Sharma will have his time in this Conference and Blaze Boosters badly need his effort, at least before the return of Washington and Al-Hussaini.
Petron is no doubt that they are in the top two team. If they can sustain their team effort and excellent "D" they are again in a good run for another Championship.
