MMA Killer KICKS

I've watched different fights in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and I'm a big fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Recently there were AMAZING kicks in the MMA World particularly in UFC and WEC, those fights were exciting and explosive fights, so I decided to list 5 of the great KnockOut Kicks and the Best Kick Artists in the MMA.

I will show you,
Jose "Junior" Aldo
Gabriel "Napao" Gonzaga
Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida
Anderson "Spider" Silva
and
Anthony "Showtime" Pettis

Are you ready?
I'm ready!
Let's Get it ON!

Let's start with Jose "Junior" Aldo,
He is the Featherweight Champion of UFC with a record of 19 wins 1 lose and 0 draw.
Before he became an Octagon Fighter he was a Football player in Brasil.
He has this very strong ground and pound but the most undeniable skill that he has is his HARD KICKS, maybe Urijah Faber can tell you that personally.

To see how "Junior" throws some of his very hard kicks, here is a video

After his title fight with Faber, Jose Aldo won the WEC featherweight championship and Faber ended up with crutches. That's how hard "Junior" kicks.

Next,
We have, Gabriel Gonzaga 11-6-0 (W-L-D).
He is a big fighter, a Heavyweight fighter,
but that doesn't mean that he can not kick someone's face.
At UFC 70 "Nations Collide"
He fought the legendary, Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic.
"Crop Cop" has this very good head kicks but in this one, maybe he taste his own medicine.
A head kick ends the fight in the first round, YES! you read it right, in the very first round.

That kick was ... a kick that could finished a career ... MY GOODNESS!

It's time to feel some breath of the "The Dragon", Lyoto Machida.
Machida is a former Light Heavyweight Champion, and he is very good in Karate.
He has an outstanding record of 17-2-0 (W-L-D)
He made the best SCISSOR KICK I've ever seen!
And it landed in the face of the Hall of Famer "The Natural" Randy Couture.

Unfortunately, before the match, Randy Couture said that, his fight against The Dragon will be his last fight as an MMA fighter, win or lose, that would be his last fight. Although it turned out to be Machida's night. Still, Randy "The Natural" Couture will the most loved fighter inside the Octagon.

Now the "Spider" is here to catch some food...
It's Anderson Silva 28-4-0 (W-L-D).
Who doesn't know him? He is the Middleweight Champion, the longest reigning champion in his weight division, he is still unbeaten in UFC 13-0 (all of his 4 loses came outside of the UFC) and he is the best pound for pound fighter in the Octagon.
UFC 126: Silva vs Belfort
This could be the fight of the year when "The Phenom" meets the unbeaten "Spider".
Everyone expects that it would be the most explosive fight in terms of striking, because both Belfort and Silva were phenomenal striker. They have this killer instinct when they fight inside the Octagon.
The only question was, who will draw the first blood?
And the answer was ...

The Phenom was caught by the Spider Web.
It happens in the first round, early in the first round. It happen so quick it never even break a sweat for Silva.
The kick looks so simple but it caught Belfort right on target.

And last but DEFINITELY NOT THE LEAST,
It's! "SHOWTIME"!
The Ninja! He is the one who made what they call, "The Super Kick"
He is none other than, Anthony Pettis, former WEC Lightweight Champion.
"Showtime" has a record of 11-2-0 (W-L-D)
Pettis has this excellent Stand Up and strong Ground Game.
Anthony Pettis made his mark when he won his first WEC title from Ben Henderson via Unanimous Decision, but in the last round of that match Pettis made an incredible move... That is the Super Kick! well, I prefer to call it as Ninja Kick.

All videos are from youtube.com

Anthony "Showtime" Pettis relive his moniker "Showtime" his Ninja Kick is really for showtime!
Arguably his kick will be the most exciting, unexpected and the best kick in MMA.

There is no doubt that fights like these are the most exciting and fun to watch,
because it can put you in the edge of your sit, drop your jaw in aw, leave you with words Oh My GOD! and It is all OVER!
